I'm thinking of getting Disquis on my blog as well. I've read what other say, most of them have the same good opinion as you do, some complain their pages don't load fast enough or at all sometimes.

My opinion at the moment is that Disqus is probably the better of the two for managing comments on your own site, but that Backtype may be the better solution for tracking your own comments off your own site. Together, they make a powerful toolset for tracking your digital footprint and keeping all your online conversations straight.

I love Disqus, and I use it on all of my blogs! Even from a Search engine optimization stand point Disqus is awesome!

There's no doubt DISQUS works great in aggregating your comments but it's not really a good thing SEO makers since DISQUS ends up with NoDofollow comments.
